I'd have preferred the other rumored title, "The Ghost of Christmas Past." But I'm okay with "A Christmas Carol." If Blackadder can have "Blackadder's Christmas Carol," Doctor Who can use it, too.

The wildest suggestion for the title I've seen comes from Gallifrey Base:
"A Deadly Christmas Carol of Doom."
Yeah, I'd love that.

How about "Doctor Who: Dark of the Christmas?"

I'm also partial to "The Ghosts of Christmas," assuming the Doctor, Amy, and Rory represent past, present, and future for the ersatz Scrooge.
I like Bones' title suggestion. Has a nice ring to it and is very Doctor Who.
Seriously though, Jesus wept. Fuck's sake. Etc. I think it's easily the worst Doctor Who story title ever. By a long way.
Well I've not gone and nabbed someone else's title wholesale. What's next year's going to be called? It's a Wonderful Life? And I can't wait for that coming episode that's a clever twist on The Sound of Music. I think it's called The Sound of Music.
I like "The Christmas of Death" for a title. Or "The Christmas of Fear." What can I say? I'm a Hinchcliffe/Holmes stalwart.
Seriously, though, I thought "Amy's Choice" was a completely insipid episode title. Great episode that I happened to re-watch this morning (BBC America's doing a marathon). So I don't think there's a direct correlation title::quality of show. If there was, "Arc of Infinity" would have been a masterpiece, and "City of Death" would have been garbage. So a lousy title doesn't necessarily mean we'll get a bad episode.
Here are a few worse titles just for fun:

"Jingle Bells on the TARDIS"
"I'm Dreaming of a White (Guardian) Christmas"
"A Dalek Christmas"
"The Twelve Days of Death"
