It's not. LDP won't return until episode 15 "Seizure," airing in 2011.
)Ah, but Ginn won't actually be dead, will she? She'll just be stuck in Dr Perry's body back on Earth. Perry will be the one who dies, since her consciousness will be inhabiting Ginn's body at the time Simeon kills her (hence Rush's vengeful pursuit). Still crappy either way, since Perry is also an interesting recurring character due to her connection with Rush. Also, that episode will be about damn time that Robert Knepper gets a chance to actually do something.
No, she dies because of the way the stones work. If one of the two dies, the other dies immediately. That's how it's been since Avalon.
My memory obviously is not what it used to be. So they both die, which is even worse than I was originally thinking losing just one of the two.
Nah, it's just that that fact has never really been plot relevant to SGU aside from a brief scene in Incursion part I where Rush was flailing around as Telford was dieing. Hell, I didn't remember that the brainwashing technique that was used on Telford was the same as the one used on Teal'c at the end of season 4/beginning of season 5 of SG-1, because that was only seen once several years ago.
That's okay. Although I'm not "trying to fish for spoilers" I'm also not opposed to them either.

Who knows. It's probably something that won't ever be focused on for the rest of the season.
But I like it less when they don't put as much thought/effort into how to GET to that "awesome, humongous" ending. Especially when they risk getting cancelled without getting to the payoff.
Would be nice if they put more effort into CURRENT storylines as well, so it doesn't get canned before we see where they were going...

Knowing the writers, it's probably something astoundingly stupid or something that could've been cool outside the context of Stargate.
Well, they better have that episode planned for the season finale.

If it turns out to be anything other than the cast of this series being or bringing the Ancients into being through some kind of time-trippy thing then the writers will have far exceeded the previous imaginative best that the franchise has ever achieved.
Damm, I was shocked to see Ginn die. I thought she was a great character!
I have to agree. I was just starting to like her as an addition to the cast of SGU. Just the fact that they were so quick to get rid of her upsets me. They had so much to run with and I really would have liked to see a Ginn and Eli relationship turn into something serious, but that really doesn't matter since the series is getting canned. Right as the show started to get interesting too. I guess the damage done by Season 1 was irreparable
