Hmm, I don't like Burgoyne: http://www.facebook.com/#!/photo.php?fbid=446881478230&set=a.432705493230.218469.270679318230
good god! thats hideous! the others a quite good, with the exception of si cwan. but this one has a huge FAIL stamp over it.
Agreed. Burgy is supposedly a very charismatic person and was a simultaneous and spontaneous lover to both Mark McHenry and Dr Selar. I can't see either of them attracted to this harsh individual, who's more... scary than charismatic. I much prefer the David Bowie-inspired version of Burgy on "Fire on High".
I can answer the topic's question. Because S&S USA doesn't give a crap about us. They don't care. They are one of the Agency 5. That means they care less then not giving a crap.
It's eerie, isn't it. I didn't realise what a perfect sculpt of Suzie Plakson the Playmates K'Ehleyr was till I put a Vulcan black bowl-cut on her - and Selar was suddenly staring back at me.
It's definitely very lifelike compared to my TNG Playmate figures (GEN Movie Uniform Data, GEN Movie Uniform LaForge, S1 Uniform Yar)
Despite my disliking the previously posted character images, I actually kinda like those covers. Although, I do agree about the sword. I've never understood why they suddenly have the sword on all of the covers.
I haven't exactly had a problem with the sword, but I do think it is weird that it's being made this symbol of the series. Especially if it's meant to be the sword Calhoun keeps, since there's no way that thing has a Starfleet emblem on it...
Yeah, that was my thought to. Although I've also been wondering if maybe it's supposed to represent the Excalibur.
