my TNG drinking game

My friends and I have been developing a TNG drinking game. Our objective was to have the most drinking occur with only a few rules (all the other TNG drinking games I've found have way too many).

Your feedback is appreciated.

1 – Picard says “Make it so.”

2 – Picard stands on moral principle

3 – Riker hits on/is hit on by a woman, or is engaged physically with a woman

4 – Riker says “Hell” or “Damn”

5 – Data is confused by a human behavior/emotion/idiom

6 – Data is cut off in mid-sentence

7 – Worf gets in a fight

8 – Worf says “Klingon”

9 – Geordi picks up something with his visor

10 – Geordi says “It’s gonna take some time.”

11 – Beverly discovers something she hasn’t seen before

12 – Deanna senses something and isn’t sure what it is

We need bonuses...like 4 drinks if Riker walks out of a doorway heading one way and looking the other.
The stuff that's rare needs more rewards!

Take an amount of drinks appropriate to the level of diagnostics that is being run. For a level 2 diagnostic, drink twice, level four, drink four times... etc.

other times to drink.

once when a character is bluffing.

three times when a bluff doesn't actually work.

drink twice when Data says a contraction.

Drink twice when an enemy gets hit by a phaser set to something higher than stun.

Drink whenever it would have super-helpful for the away team to have brought a video camera down so Picard knows really what's up.

Drink whenever Data "switches" and no longer seems to be his usual self.

Drink whenever Spot appears.

Drink twice whenever you notice Spot changes gender.

DRink twice whenever a version of the matte painting from Angel One appears to represent another planet location.

Drink whenever Worf gets pwned. There's a video compilation around here that might help.

Drink if something is heard or appears on the view screen that sensors either say isn't actually there or if they say that it both is and is not there simultaneously.

Drink three times if Guinan is not wearing a hat.

Drink if a woman beats up a man in a fight.

Drink twice if a character imitates the voice inflections of the good captain.

Atthe end of the game, finish your supply of beer if you are still looking for jamaharon

Drink whenever Picard says "Fire at will!" and you childishly imagine everyone shooting Riker with a phaser.

Just take a drink every time Picard says prime, it doesn't need to be followed by directive, but bonus drink if it is

Drink every time Worf says "Romulan" with exaggerated disdain.

Drink every time Riker wants to know what's going on here.

and everytime Data says "ah"

or Data cocks his head while thinking

or a character says something in a "foreign" language that the "UT" doesn't translate for the viewer; twice if it's an obscenity

and drink every time Worf rolls his eyes and looks like he's about to jump out of his chair while someone else is talking about taking the peaceful way out during a senior officers' conference.

That should help.

Pop the top at the opening fanfare and just keep going. Requires less thinking. ;) :mallory:

I'm just jealous that you have friends in real life that are into Star Trek!

How about everytime Picard does "the Picard Maneuver"?

^^^^^ Alrik thats not a game then.

Same end result though. ;)

We had one for TOS back in the day.

Every time Kirk flexed
Whenever you could see Uhura's panties
When Spock said 'logical' or 'illogical'
etc...

Okay, okay TNG.

Whenever Troi shows some cleavage.
Every time Riker yells "Shields up, Red Alert!"
Whenever someone reports that 'shields are down to _%."
Whenever Picard makes a log entry

Just be careful not to drink whenever Geordie Treknobabbles, else you'll be in the hospital with alcohol poisoning before long.
