Jeff and Beau Bridge, Dennis and Randy Quaid... brother actor combos that have often competed for roles. In fact, Jeff and Beau were in The Fabulous Baker Boys because Dennis declined.
It was just a joke, like if David Ortiz declared himself a Yankee because something bad happened with the Red Sox.
And the Quaids, Bridges and Carradines all played real life siblings in Walter Hill's The Long Riders.
