Ok, so what's the deal with Clark and those glasses?

Yes Clark has to wear to glasses to pose as older Clark from the future.

He just has to make sure he doesn't meet his older self or there will be a major paradox!

Brainy will make sure there are no paradox's unless his calculations are off and this is the Smallville version so there's no telling what might happen :) Can you tell I'm excited to see him?

Im going to be honest ive only really ever seen Braininc 5 on the Legion of Superheros cartoons, I hope they do not bring the slash fic from that, into Smallville.

then again is it really any differnt to James Masters in Torchwood?

The Brainy from the Legion cartoon was but a farce of the real Brainy which is a kind of older more mature version of the original silver age Brainy. Aside from Saturn Girl, Brainiac 5 is my favorite Legion character.

"Wow, you did a really good job at rejiggering that Brainiac AI tech. My PC at my other house up North is almost as big a douchebag as Brainiac was, I don't suppose that you could think about making him a little more user friendly?"

(Or is Brainiac the only Legionnaire they're sending back?)

My god. They don't get it.

League = a lot of people.
Society = A lot of people.
Legion = 100 people.

Besides, how fricking dense is Clark if he'll take Brainiac at his word even when he's telling the truth, it's not like the Super intellect couldn't have spent years in the future torturing (cutting off toes and injecting vinegar into their eye balls.) the Legionaries until they provided the most authentic proof imaginable to say that he was a goody when he is still possibly to clearly a baddy.

Besides (again).

This is a very narrow window of opportunity for Saturngirl to lay a legend.

Afterall... Just like with Ross and that Copy Girl, they are on a break.

PWS described Brainy as "a slippery fish with a questionable morale compass" which of course in no way describes the Legion Brainiac 5.

Indeed not. This version I believe is simply a reprogrammed Brainiac which could explain their description of him. I hope this isn't yet another example of sloppy writing on the writing staff's part and there is some source material accuracy in the episode.

Sloppy?

Saturn Girl said last season (the seaosn previous?) "Brainiac 1 through 4 have been right cunts, lets see if we can do one better with Brainiac 5."

Or, possibly words to that effect.

Brainiac 5 was FORESHADOWED.

Lorraine: Give me anything on Smallville's Chloe and Oliver, please! I love Chllollie.

We all miss Chloe, but sadly, accoding to a source, none of Alison Mack's handful of Smallville episodes are coming up anytime soon. Oliver (Justin Hartley) on the other hand is alive and kinda well. And remember that life-changing moment we teased a few weeks ago? Well, get ready for this: Oliver will announce to the world that he is Green Arrow. Ahhh! Are you ready, world?

I assumed that Allison's remaining episodes would be back ended towards the end of the season and that her final episode will be just before the series finale, just a prediction. I predict that Ollie revealing that he is Green Arrow ties in with the Apokolips storyline and we've yet to be shown who Ollie was truly kidnapped by. Remember he told Chloe that they weren't human.

Aquaman is officially off the market. When the H20-based Justice Leaguer (as played by Alan Ritchson) returns to Smallville next month, he’ll be a married man. The lucky bride? Classic DC Comics undersea queen Mera!

Actress Elena Satine—whose credits include guest stints on Cold Case and Melrose Place 2.0—will play the role of Mera.

The newlyweds will turn up in this season’s Tom Welling-helmed ninth episode.
