I say not aliens, they are either:

- from a Parralel dimension
- from the future and thus more slightly evolved.
- Or peaple taken in the past then altered by aliens (like the 4400) or altered from people in the future.

My bet is they are from the future, it makes sence with the one percent DNA difference.

Yep, that's my take. They're from the future, and have come back to 'change the past' and help save hummanity by averting The Event (which happens in their timeline, thus requiring their travel back to our time.)

Can you say, cliche? ;)

But yeah, I'm done watching. I may check a hread once and a while (if they continue being posted); but it's not worth wasting an hour of my time each week on this.

If it was a close friend, I'd be right there with you. But someone they had just met? No way I'd let some guy I'd met less than a day or so earlier go off snorkeling with the woman I loved. For me, it's about distrust of the stranger not the significant other.
What's the problem? The chick comes on to him, he tells her to get lost. He's a good looking guy. I would assume he'd get a lot of offers. If he wasn't capable of rebuffing them, I wouldn't consider marrying him. I can't babysit the guy 24/7, so if I can't trust him, there's no option but to dump him.

The last thing any relationship needs is one partner who is so paranoid and insecure that they won't let their spouse go snorkeling with a good looking member of the opposite sex. Even if I suspect that person of having less than honorable motives, it shouldn't matter. At the most, I'll point out to my bf/husband that "she's probably going to hit on you" and when she does and he tells me about it later, we can have a good laugh.
Or, to spin it another way, I wouldn't have gone off snorkeling with a woman I had just met, not when the woman I loved was alone, sick on a cruise. I'd stay in with her. If she wanted alone time, I'd take a nap. :p

Oh well that's fine - but an entirely different motivation.

Either way, the separation of Sean and Leila just doesn't make any sense for two people who are supposedly madly in love with one another and on the verge of being engaged.
Why? They've probably lived together for a while and it's not like they're joined at the hip. What's the big deal about doing separate things on a vacation for a couple hours? If they were incapable of separating for even a short amount of time, I'd recommend they see a shrink. That sounds like an unhealthy degree of dependency.

I was just thinking that.

That maybe "The Event" is actually what makes the DNA differ and have us age less.

But I think it's rather clear that it won't be something insane and different, not that you can do anything different on TV, it's all been done.
