Valon - Patrick Dempsey or David Tennant or someone else...

Donovan - Liev Schreiber

Perjon Dax - Christian Bale

Sulira Sisko - Jordan Hinson or Rachel Bilson

Kelshayar - Yvonne Strahovski or Kristin Kreuk

You guys have any ideas?

i'd say Dempsy, Bilson and Kreuk. I really, really dislike Bale. But if you guys want him, i can live with it.

can you do aliens in a photoman software? i've been using aperture for my photoman projects but every alien i ever tried ended up like... well, lets just say terrible. my trills are decent, but that's about it.

i like Scheriber as Donovan. quite close to what i had imagined actually. and right now i have nothing, but i'll looka round for a Perjon.

and i'm currently in the process of upgrading to aperture 3 and PS cs5 on my hrm... macbook. i'll give it a shot as well when its finished. oh and i'll probably be posting something in a few hours.

exactly how good a shopper are you? cause i was thinking. we can use a pic of Nicole deBoer from maybe Cube (uch...) or some other early film an photoshop it a bit to use as her daughter. cause no matter how good she looks right now, she's not gonna pass for a 17 year old. just a thought, though...

EDIT; there will be no posting for me tonight. i upgraded osx by mistake and my kernel is all to hell. i get KP's ever time i boot. so i have to reinstall leopard. and every program along with it. damn...

^Why not just use Bilson as the model for the daughter? Her "super-slender-that-works" quite nicely suggests heritage from her father. Julian, of course, is rather tall and gaunt.

Still, I like the idea of Nikki from "Cube". Perhaps we should photoshop both and compare....

well, i have no problem with Blison aside from that she doesnt even remotely resemble either of them.

i look around for pics from cube or from its promo. but i dont think i'll have much luck. its practically impossible to find anything about canadian films. unfortunately...

btw. i'll post everything tomorrow. spent the evening reinstalling osx and every app i had. finally up and running again with a usable mac. the pismo was unbearably slooooooooow...

yeah, that why i was hoping to gain access to that fancy computer program the police use. but the guy i know is in the states right now. would be nice though. all you need to do to input two subjects (ezri and julian) and you get sulira. a bit photoshopping and you're done... but no, the guy had to take a vacation right now. (alright, i admit it. i'm just jealous. i'm freezing my ass off here and he's sitting in miami drinking margaritas...)

Trying to cast Perjon Dax and I'm coming up blank. Any ideas? Another thing, do you guys think there's any canon evidence against different Trill races? I believe all the Trill shown on screen were Caucasian-ish, do you think we should use that as a rule? Doesn't matter either way to me.
We need an actor who can look 'dark' but not wimpy...hmm...nope, still no idea.

I actually liked the idea of a Christian Bale type....

At any rate, you're right--a "rough-and-rugged" type (none of the stereotype "pretty boy" Ken-doll stuff), who you could believe has some tragic personal demons. A total "Bad-A--" with a sad past in his eyes. A "Jack Bauer" kinda guy (of course, Keifer Sutherland is probably too old....).

btw. funny thing i came across today. during my EM classes we use this disinfectant thingy. the same stuff they use in the hopitals. now the make of this desinfectant is "Dax". never really noticed until now that it getting chilly outside, but this disinfectant has an interesting side effect. it makes your hands incredibly cold. and not just short term, but for hours. and we all know that trills are know for just that, their cold hands. so a friend of mine (also a trekkie) named the thing: "Trill-in-a-bottle."
