Holy cow...that was actually kind of awesome. Was that another Destiny type ship? Destiny blew up! How much you wanna bet the freaky alien monster is Chloe? Or at least has something to do with Chloe's transformation? I'm excited for this next season.
I think I read somewhere that in the 3rd episode of Season 2, they encounter a seeder ship.
Don't tell me they are going to "Ford" Chloe by turning her into an alien hybrid. They did the same thing for Ford, and look what ended up happening. I hope they do a better job with Chloe and she doesn't end up going away, I like her.
That preview was pretty awesome, it gives me high hopes for this second season. If they can pick up the action a bit, it'll be great. I saw a lot of neat things there. I want to download that video so I can examine it frame by frame and see all the cool stuff.

Nah no need to worry about that. This has been the plan with her all along, they hinted at it with her understanding the alien language in s1. Plus the show focuses on her more than it did Ford, I think. Not going anywhere I'd wager.
The CGI alien, seeder ship, and the Destiny blowing are probably never going to be used properly, as the CGI alien will die in the episode (have to stay in budget), the seeder ship will be forgotten/abandoned, and the Destiny blowing up will be reset somehow. And since we know through IMDB and Robert Carlyle's commentary, Young isn't going to die, so that's a wasted opportunity to improve this show.
I just blew through the Season 1 DVDs over the last 2 days, and I have to say the show really surprised me with awesomeness. I was not expecting to get hooked like I did.
What I really hope from Season 2 is that they delve more into the Destiny herself. I want to learn about its mission and its mysteries. How much of value is actually on the ship? At what point were the Ancients going to gate there, and what were they going to do once that happened?
I'm still a little fuzzy on what the Destiny is even doing. It's following the path of the ships that are seeding the universe with Stargates, but how far behind those ships is it? Why are the seeder ships putting stargates everywhere?
And will the blue aliens be back, or did we just leave them behind in the other galaxy?
