How fast is warp speed?

...how fast is the Vesta-class slipstream drive, then, in terms of Warp 9.999??? equivalent?

I asked this on the first page but no one ever answered; then again, I don't know how many of you are familiar with that class from the "Destiny" trilogy and recent Voyager books.

This has been answered in the Treklit forum, but either I missed it on my look through or the thread has been deleted (it wasn't that long ago, but they seem to only keep three pages there ). IIRC nothing specific has been tied down, but it's something along the lines of "a little faster than slipstream was in episode X, but a lot slower than it was in episode Y", and "speed of plot, but faster than warp".

I think it is great that Trek is finally getting close to the SW Stargate ship speeds at last.
