Who were those dinosaur-like aliens on VOY? I can't remember... I may have to use that info to create the 'worst aliens' poll in the General Trek section...
Took me a while to find it, but it was the episode "Day of Honor"
The aliens were Caatati
Annoying lil' sh*ts..... talk about why beggars shouldn't be choosers.
I would have taken Quark's empty threat he used too often on Rom and made it reality, by tossing this guy's sorry arse out the nearest airlock..... friggin hail my ship and beg me for whatever I can offer, then tell him what I can offer only to have him beg and suck-hole for more like they deserve it and try and lay on the guilt trip..... then try and steal my warp core and get his petty little bum friends with their tonka toy space ships to try and take more of my crap.....
..... I'd have their bones decorating my hull for such insolence.
*shakes fist*
Yet Janeway and Seven got suckered into their threats and BS and they gave them something to help their society thrive.... thus sending the message that consistent begging followed by bully tactics gets you what you want and humans are pansies.
And yet even when they got this new technology to help them start their civilization again, he still bickered and whined that it was only one device, as if they were too god damn lazy to duplicate more.
I would have lopped his head off with a laser scalpel, shat down his throat, gouged out his eyeballs, used his head as a bowling ball, rolled it down the torpedo bay chute and fired it back at his ship so that it'd splatter on their view screen.
*shakes fist again*
God I hated those guys!
I think these guys were actually worse then those Scabies infested freaks on DS9 I mentioned earlier I hated.
Don't get me wrong, I don't have anything against people who are down on their luck and need some help..... I can even tolerate begging..... but when the beggar starts demanding things and acting like they're owed something just by basking you with their glorious presence, or they can't appreciate what they were just given.... that's where I draw the line..... show some damn respect and gratitude for what you got and
move along home.
Oops, did I just say that?
