Bingo. I'm almost positive it's a '68. If it's original parts, you can look at the light just behind the rear-right wheel (edit: you can see it in the first photo in the set, above) and see the manf. date, which was '68.He was probably unsure of the year - not the type.
I believe that's a '69, rather than a '68 (compare the rear views here to yours above) but absolutely no argument on the gorgeous.Car porn.
This was parked in the lot of a tasting room I visited this weekend. I believe it's a '68 E Type Jaguar (I'm guessing on the year). Insanely gorgeous.

Where was that taken?
