Nice car. I've been thinking about getting one of those myself. What year is it? You'll love the 2LT trim level too.

Poor little guy, got a bit too close to a wasps' nest this morning! I phoned the vet, who told me to give him half a Benedryl and keep an eye on it. The swelling's already gone down, but as you can see, for a while there he was a bit lopsided. :(

Good for you for taking care of the poor critter. And, I would have never thought you could use Beneydryl on pets.

Between 70% and 90% of the meds used on animals/pets are actually the same as meds used on humans.

Aw, poor little fella :( Hopes it's continues to go down. My uncle has a female of the same race who's the lord of the house over the other dogs he has, one quite bigger!

Oh and RoJoHen, good man on buying Chevrolet :techman:

Yes, the vet I used to work for years ago said many of the meds he had at the office could be given to people. He actually had ordinary over the counter meds in stock as well.

BJ. what GREAT PICTURES!!!!!!!!!

Kelso, would you like a cookie little boy????? (Kelso's baby is so cute!)

TSQ: Awwwwww da poor baby!!!!! Give him a gentle kiss on the nose for me.

Flukie, Yeah, we give our Zoe benedryl for her allergies. Works just as good as doggie medicine, is a lot cheaper and it doesn't make her a pee-head like the steroids do.

Two of my oldtimers transfering files using a parallel link cable and Interlink/Interserver. :D

So, there was a fire two doors down from me this afternoon, and I thought I would share some pics I took of the scene. The building was unoccupied, but had been going through renovations. I smelled the smoke about 10 mins before the fire dept. showed up, and it has an electrical smell to it. Now my apt. stinks.

This one is strange how the smoke is 'cut' in the middle of the pic, due to some weird error with my camera. Weird!

This one is for Crusher Disciple. :)

My dally got a puffy muzzle and hives from a spider bite a number of years ago, and the vet told me to give her Benadryl, too. Worked wonders.

Crusher Disciple, yes, but I like it too! ;)

I got my hair cut this afternoon for the first time since May 29... 2009.

Yes, it's still fairly long in the back. That's a deliberate choice... I decided some months ago that I wanted to grow it out (I haven't had hair this long in over 20 years).

While my stylist was flat-ironing it (the first time I've ever had that done), I said, "You're making me look like Sawyer from Lost." :)

It makes my face look very round, but that could also just be because my stylist gave me a center part for some reason (I normally wear it parted on the right). Once it relaxes a bit, it'll probably cover my forehead a bit more.

For comparison purposes, this photo was taken the morning after my last haircut:

On dogs at least, but most human medications are toxic and can be fatal to cats - even Tylenol.

Thanks everyone, the beagle is all better!

Rupert got himself into something last year and broke out in bad hives. We did the benedryl thing as well.

You can also use baby aspirin for aches and pains. Helena wrenched her knee this weekend and we gave her some of that.

But yeah, always check with the vet first.

Car porn.

This was parked in the lot of a tasting room I visited this weekend. I believe it's a '68 E Type Jaguar (I'm guessing on the year). Insanely gorgeous.
