I'm not mad at her. If I was mad at her, I'd be saying incredibly mean things that would set off lynx's alarm bells.

I'm concerned because that's not her normal MO even at cons.

Take a look at some other, older photos when she's appeared. She's always very... her demeanor... she's very shy. But, she's normally very well put together.

I don't mean designer clothes or whatever. She's just... cleaner, less "frumpy".

Her appearance at that con strikes me as strange, like there's something not quite right.

Well, I hate cats, but even I can't countenance kitten abuse, so please don't.

As far as the dress code for the Voyager panel, the entire panel was extremely (except for young Pomers) casual in their dress. Ethan Phillips and Bob Picardo especially so.

I suspect Jen's casual attire was due to the need to wear something that one could sit in demurely, while sitting on high directors chairs in front of hundreds/thousands with high powered camera lenses. Not to mention something not constricting for the time at the autograph table later (?) in the day.

IIRC, last year when I went you tube surfing for the other con's Mulgrew attended, I thanked my lucky stars I saw her in NJ, since she seemed more "dressed up" there than several others I saw. "Lucky" cuz I was dressed up for that all important photo with her.

Now, in truth, she could have worn a T shirt and cutoff jeans and I'd still have been thrilled to have been that close to the Auburn Queen, but maybe that's just me. (And maybe AMG. )
