Greg Grunberg Wants Recurring Trek Role

I personally cannot stand Grunberg as an actor. I found him to be completely lacking in talent and totally unwatchable on Heroes.

Matt was a fun character on Heroes and within Grunberg's acting ability but he didn't really add much to the role. Another actor could have done as well or better.

Please just let him be the voice in the car young nuKirk was driving and that's it. I couldn't stand his character on Heroes and although he seems like a very nice guy, please don't show up in Trek.

Back to topic, Greg could get a role anytime he wanted considering he is JJ Abrhams bessie mate. He's appeared in everything JJ has done, and was offered a role in Star Trek XI, which he turned down due to commitments with Heroes...I know where I would rather have been!

Also it would have been good to see him have on screen time with his TV wife Amanda Foreman!

Both good ideas! But Bell as Rand means retconning Rand to be a much sharper cookie...kinda like what they did with Uhura.

Yeah Kristen Bell would do ok, although I think I'd like Rand to be a bit more of an action junkie this time round, so maybe someone a bit more athletic would be preferable. Still, I wouldn't cry if Bell got the role.

Christine Rose on the other hand is so cooool. She'd make a great admiral. T'Pau? Hard to imagine her with the ears but I'd buy that for a dollar.
