Expectations of Huddy romance (House)

With the premiere of the seventh season on the horizon, what are your expectations of this new romance between House and Cuddy? Do the two have the slightest chance of having a future or are they doomed to fail?

The way I see, House and Cuddy are moths drawn to each other's flame. Even if they do get burn by each other, it's just a matter of time before they get drawn into that flame again. Imagine them as an older, slightly more damaged version of Gossip Girl's Chuck and Blair.

That wouldn't be a bad thing because the show just seems to be running out of ideas and Season 7 would be the right place to end the story of Dr. Gregory House.

Strangely enough, as much as I love House, I was actually pondering the other night how this season would be as good a place as any to be the last season. Let us see the ups and downs of House & Cuddy being in a relationship with the finale showing them finding some even ground.

Or having it all fall apart and then House and Wilson hook up and drive off happily into the sunset...

Let's hope S7 is the final season because FOX can just as easily make it go on for a eighth season or a ninth or more just to keep the money flow of one of their hit shows going rather than ending it with dignity.

I thought Huddy had a nice young guy she was living with who was helping her take care of her daughter. She dumped him for an uncertain thing with an emotional cripple like House?

Idiot. House isn't capable of a healthy romance. The only person he geniunely cares for is Wilson. The show must be running on fumes to go there. I thought the other guy was end game for Cuddy and that she'd moved on.

I dropped this show after the second season...just lost interest in it. My best friend watches it religiously though along with "Bones" which I also dropped.

We already have something going on between House and Cuddy. If we take it into a full blown romance, we'll lose the sexual tension. That being said, it might be interesting to see them play house--there's a lot of fun to be had in how petty, childish and honest House can be in relationships.

I think the relationship is rife with material, an episode with House at home watching the kid while Cuddy is otherwise away would be endless entertaining.

And I think the series writers are capable enough to pull it off and keep the sexual tension between the two characters. I just want the medical mysteries end of the show to be more interesting and central this season, because it's fun watching House practice medicine, watching the patients humanize him a bit and just see him unload on the occasional dumbass.
