The Mullet Is Banned In Iran

http://www.sbs.com.au/news/article/1296047/latest-from-wire/

Well here it says that a woman in iran has to keep her hair covered. I thought women over in Iran were able to have more choice than this

It also states that a woman needs to cover her hair because of some law over there it is called Shira law

I wonder what that stands for and what other conditions go under the same law
It doesn't stand for anything. Sharia is a word in the Arabic language meaning "way" or "path".

Thanks. I was going to post this. I'm surprised some people never heard of Sharia laws, or never saw a woman with a headscarf.

In other mullet news, the Pittsburg Zoo and PPG Aquarium has just introduced a US$5 discount entry fee to people who wear mullets.

Do they mean the hairstyle or the actual fish
Sounds like a lost Monty Python sketch.

“And now, a man wearing a fish on his head!”
. . . Meanwhile, in the land of the free (San Francisco), the city council is considering banning sales of all pets except fish, while passing strict new guidelines on the appropriate way to make, sell, and serve pot brownies.
San Francisco: the city that never met a regulation it didn't like.

In the loony-liberal community of West Hollywood, aka San Francisco South, I believe officially there are no such things as pets -- they're “animal companions.” And they're not owned, they’re “adopted.”

As for Iran, the things that AREN'T banned there would make a much shorter list.

According to my two pups it's the other way around - they own me. I'm comforted to know I'm adopted instead of owned. :)

Mullets - never cared for them but to each their own.

Well i think for Iran Islamic-fascism government banning hairstyle is not news worthy to me as to new law bill banning Muslims to convert to other religions. Punishable by the death penalty didn't evan make the news here in the west and more shocking UN dosent say nothing about it..

Do you have a link to this new law? I'm curious about it now because I've not heard anything.

i read in some newsletters couple of months ago. Just write Iran Proposes Death Penalty for Apostasy and look for it in Yahoo search bar and you will find some links about it.
