SGU Season Two reveals Destiny’s mission!

Maybe they're taking on board what the fans are saying. It felt like they made strides in the second half of season one.

I've spotting the absurdity already, though. How come Destiny is within spitting distance of this "destination" just when our intrepid "heroes" happen to come aboard? What are the odds of that?

You know, I was totally fine with the idea that Destiny was part of some Ancient exploration program. The only problem in season 1 was why the hell the Lucian Alliance wanted it when they knew it was a piece of crap that could fall apart at any time.

Maybe the ship reached it millions of years ago, but was programmed to just scout around the neighborhood and only make the final push once a crew arrived.

Re: SGU Season Two reveals Destiny

Didn't they find Earth midway through NuBSG's run? Just more homage to those who got critical aclaim before.

Admittedly it does sound kind of interesting, but I'm only cautiously optimistic at this point. SGU has yet to properly execute a good idea.

Oh come on. Coincidences to push a plot forward have been used for years. To single out SGU for it is just ridiculous.

Honestly, enough with the furlings already. Never gonna happen. Didn't you see the episode where the writers made fun of people still expecting to see the furlings?!

Keep the frikin' furlings off Destiny!

Bring on the inexplicable salt vampire!

I'm now imaginig a Twilight parody between Chloe and the creature from Star Trek's The Man Trap.

Hell, I think I just thought up the first legitimate story related reason for keeping Chloe on the show.
