Red Hair

This thread is bringing back some interesting memories - does anyone remember D. I. Galloway from the first series of The Bill (the series not the pilot)? I had a huge crush on him :alienblush:

Unfortunately I can't find any pictures of him, but he had red-hair - and was a fine looking man! *happy sigh*

I don't think I've seen him in anything, although he does look familiar - I had to google him. Photobucket is refusing to upload things for me right now, but for anyone who's interested, this is the first photo I saw.

EDIT: stupid photobucket. Anyway, here's Damian Lewis:

Great example! Even I think he's hot.

As mentioned, he's the lead in "Life", in which he's great, but for his best work yet it's "Band of Brothers". In that he does an utterly spectacular job, creating such a great character (if based on a real man) that even I who's never desired going to war would follow him into battle in a heartbeat.

I thought he was great on both too, but I think the first thing I saw him in was dreamcatcher. Didn't enjoy the film much, but his character seemed to entertain people in the cinema:)

Damien was great in "Dreamcatcher" which was, unfortunately, one of the worst films of a Stephen King story to date. As for David Caruso... has anyone else noticed that he's begun to parody himself, much like Shatner does? I used to really dislike him, but now that he's begun making fun of himself, I think the guy's a scream.

damian lewis?

ooh... he is nice!

He was the lead in "Band of Brothers," a show I seem to keep watching everytime I see it on. And he was in "Life," I believe; a show I didn't watch despite him being in it.

I really liked him in Band of Brothers.

ETA: D'oh! Mentioned a number of times already.

All these posts and no mention of Jaime Ray Newman????

I think Caruso knows the score. NYPD Blue was credible work that made him an overnight star, but he got full of himself and left the show way too early to pursue a movie career he hadn't even established yet with his new found fame and the fire burned out. CSI: Miami is all about the money, because it certainly isn't about doing good work.

Saw this website:

http://www.raising-redheads.com/famous-actors.html

So how did we forget

Danny Bonaduce
Billy Mumy
Ben and Jason from the Waltons (Eric Scott and Jon Walmsley)
Red Skelton
Red Buttons
Robert Redford (lately, that is)
Ron Howard (Opie--though most is gone now)
Johnny Whitaker (I had such a crush on him when I was little)

A bunch more are listed on that site, not all natural redheads.

I never thought Red Skelton was a handsome man... actually, none of those men except for Whitaker strike me as handsome men.

What? You didn't think ROBERT REDFORD was a handsome man?

He usually ranks high on thge lists of "Hottest Male Celebrities of All Time".

Damien Lewis also appeared in an underappreciated flick called 'Stormbreaker' about a teen spy, which co-stars plenty of awesome Brit actors including Stephen Fry, Bill Nighy, Ewan MacGregor, Robbie Coltrane, Mickey Rourke and Alicia Silverstone.

it was barely released in the states by the US distributor and so tanked, through no fault of its own.

he plays a Russian assassin in it.
