Gaith does Wonder Woman

Is this suit concept on the right track?

  • Yeah. The comics suit looks ridiculous and will never fly on the big screen.

  • No, the comics suit is fine! Which is why there've been so many WW movies already!

I mean everyone knows the story of Hamlet so why retell it?

Exactly. Instead of just another boring retelling of Hamlet, I'd much rather someone do a sequel. Perhaps one in which Hamlet rises from the dead to prevent an invasion of Denmark led by Vlad "Dracula" Tepes.

Wouldn't you love to see Hamlet wading through a million-strong army of udead Romanians like a Cuisinart with dual broadswords. Wouldn't you love to see an epic duel between the Prince of Denmark and the King of Vampires, one in which their missed blows split mountains in half and create new rivers?

:guffaw: You paint a very vivid picture.

Hamlet Vs. Dracula! Coming to a theater near you Summer 2012.

Or the Syfy Channel on a Saturday.

As far as I can tell (admittedly, I haven't delved into WW much), Wonder Woman is more about Greek demi-godesses and some sort of breakaway Olympus than about Amazons. Which, in this Greek-centric world we've inherited, makes for an easy way of explaining all historical inaccuracies. Let's just say that the human Amazons were supported in secret by a splinter cell of the Pantheon, and reflected a culture they had hoped would replace classical patriarchal Greece, and conversely the gods they mainly worshiped.

I'd go with the armored look. Though there's nothing wrong with WW's current costume that not drawing the shorts like crotchfloss couldn't solve.

I adore that. Very well done.

Only if they keep the Sexy Jesus song from Hamlet 2.

True that. Bruce and Clark and go have fun, but Diana has to stay pretty much virginal and chaste.

Excuse me, but no, you're wrong on the 'virginal and chaste part'. Superman was pretty virginal and chaste around Lana Lang, and didn't hop into bed with Lois when they'd been getting intimate with each other early in their relationship (pre-reveal that he is Superman era). Bruce Wayne never really has sex with any woman, not even Selina Kyle; to him, sex is nothing more than an itch, one that doesn't bother him enough for him to want to scratch (with the recent exception of Wonder Woman). So, I believe that they're all straight arrow.

Then where did he get the son? ;-)

And whoa, Bruce and Wonder Woman had sex???

I have found yet another and quite good actress that would be very good for the role of Wonder Woman:bolian:
Her name is Julia Benson..and she is currently starring in Stargate:Universe:cool:
She has the looks, most certainly the figure..and she doesnt seem to be a bad actress either:)..

Its odd that I missed such an obvious candidate for the role.
What do you all think..do you think she could be good for the role:):shifty:?

Morena Baccarin
Because she can act and she can look very hot in leather, but she needs to grow her hair out again.

I love all of those choices. I'd even add in the lady that plays Zoe Washburne and Zoe Saldana herself, but I know how that will work out.

^^^I'd forgotten about that, and sadly, you're right.

He did get a son by Talia Head, but that was a moment of weakness in his guarded self; as I've said before, sex for Batman is nothing more than an itch, one that he doesn't really let bother him enough to scratch a lot. About Wonder Woman; I was referring to the DCAU, in which he had an intimate relationship with her (Justice League mostly, but he also had a relationship with Babs Gordon that ended badly.) This guy, in the DCAU at least was never going to have sex and a baby the way other men would, so he had to have a son cloned for him by other means. That to me, is being chaste, and that what I refer to when I said what I did about him and Superman. Superman also will never conceive a baby with Lois, possibly because it not possible for him to do so with a woman from this planet (if he wants a kid, he'll have to conceive one by his cousin Kara, or through a Kryptonian birthing matrix.)

This is one of the reasons I loved-and still love-Superman Returns; the idea that Superman amazingly still had a son through Lois, even though his DNA was restructured and should not have had any of the markers to make his son be like him, it still did when needed, but somewhat slowly in the case of Jason. Too bad we won't see a sequel; I'd love to see his son be like him.

We need an actress who looks like this:
venus_de_milo_louvre1.jpg

Only with arms. ( Which isn't meant as a slight to actresses who might not have arms.)

Gina Torres would make a great Amazon.
Thanks for the heads-up about her name. And yes, if skin color really didn't matter, I'd say that she'd make a great Wonder Woman.[/QUOTE]Not only is she too old, as noted above, she's one of the blandest-acting series leads I've ever seen. Who needs a Lasso of Truth when you can put half the audience to sleep? :p
