TRUE BLOOD Season 2--just watched, my thoughts/review....

That's why I adore Mad Men so much. It *is* anti ADHD television. So many people bitch and moan, "nothing happens" when they sample the show because they can't wait for the payoff at the end of the season.

I think it's funny that a show brought to us by Alan Ball (of Six Feet Under fame--a show slower than anything else ever brought to television past or present) is being called too ADHD.

Anyway, back to True Blood. I read a preview of S3 that says it will include

Nazi werewolves

, which just cracks me up. You gotta love a show that will think of that. Combined with the fact that I love Sam Trammel, is enough to get me to finally check it out via Netflix. By the time I'm thru S1 and S2, the S3 DVDs will probably be out.

You love Sam Trammel? Thank God. With your love for Heroes and Milo I was getting a little worried about your sensory perception, Temis. Sam's yummy. And he doesnt' wax his chest like the femme boy Twilight vampires. Neither does Moyer, thank God.

What payoff? That little secret of Peggy's that they managed to keep all first season long was pretty damn clever for starters.

hmn, I wonder if Ball likes the Hellsing manga/anime.
