Nope. Enterprise put in the first nail with its non-retro production design, then Nemesis closed the coffin by not casting Patrick Stewart as Shinzon.
    ;)
    *yawn* yeah, sometimes...:guffaw:

Once past the 'it's too high tek', I agree.

oh, sorry I don't keep track of director's much. well no actually I like that version of kirk much better than the original version. Sure he was still an egotisticall man whore but he was a likeable egotistical man whore, unlike the original kirk. at least in my opinion:)

The NCC-1701-A unveiled at the end of TVH should have been an Excelsior-class ship, not another Constitution-class.

Yup. Then you had the malfunctioning "new" ENT of TFF. And set up the decomissioning in VI.

A new "Enterprise" would be called just that, with no A, right? But with a new number to designate it is a different vessel. I'll bet this was hashed out years before I was here (bbs, not earth).

I have similar feelings about the Enterprise-E. It should have been another Galaxy class ship instead of that ugly Voyager knock-off we got.

I think they should have killed off Counselor Troi within the first couple of seasons of TNG.

The oil slick in "Skin of Evil" would have been a good candidate for knocking off Troi in first season.

Yes, completely agree. I understand why they killed off Tasha, but I really would rather have had Tasha than Troi.

Probably not, actually. The TNG ship is the 1701-D, after all.

I figured killing off Wesley was tops of everyone's list. But, at least he was useful. Troi just sat there and pulled Captain Obvious moves over and over and over...

Thanks, I like my avatar, too. ;)

With few exceptions, this 'unpopular opinions' thread seems to be filled with rather tame opinions.
Which qualifies as yet another tame 'unpopular opinion':rommie:.

    ^ I take that as a challenge.

I think Picard should have died in the last movie along with Data.
