^^^ Well said, StarryEyed.
I need facts, not faith, before I start believing.
There are many things we would like to wish were true in life.
I mean, I wish I could fly and defy gravity. But I can't. But some things are the way they are and cannot be changed. I am just the messenger so please don't shoot me. I am just telling you my experience and my life (with my personal walk with God). And I know Faith is the first step. It is just the way it is.
As for other miracles and spiritual experiences for people in other religions: Well, not all of them can be the one true and correct one way. And if there is no "one way". Then nobody should believe anything then. But the existence of demon possession, and talk of Angels, and God, the devil and spiritualistic experiences or miracles, and debate about the end times, attack against the Bible, religions based around the Bible all suggest that there is something more to the Bible than it being just a book.
Plus, many of those people who have had experiences in other religions did not do extensive research into ALL religions in comparison to the Bible and science.
As for astral projection:
That is a practice that has been tied to the occult. And the occult is tied to satanism and or demons.

The reason for the hope that I have is that I took that step of faith after hearing God's message or call. Once I took that first step. It was like a light was turned on inside me. I felt completely changed. And ever since then, the hope that I have is confirmed in the knowledge that He has shown me over the many years (of being a Christian). In science, other religions, the Bible, my life, other people's lives, and the good that He has brought into my life. The reason for my hope is that I know without a doubt Jesus died for my sins (and He is the one and only true way). I hope that message will talk to anyones heart who is willing to listen or is ready to take that first step.
1st Peter 3:15
"But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you..."
