I drew a picture of my nephew, Liam, today. It is Uniball pen and marker. My scanner cropped the edges :

Wonderful, tsq. I love the way you used the white paper and dark shadows to bring contrast It pulls it together nicely and really brings warmth to the drawing. The muted grey/blue tones add for me the thoughts of new life and the touch of skin tone brings a nice touch of "humanity".

It's actually the first thing I've drawn in about 6 months. ANd yes, it's a gift. I'm going to give it to my sister when I visit Seattle this summer. I hope she and my brother-in-law like it.

As a language nerd, what pisses me off about that song and its contents is that most of the examples given aren't actual examples of irony.

You're right. The title is ironic because of the song, which isn't ironic and neither are its contents. What layered references. Uh oh, brain starting to hurt...it's getting late on a weeknight...
