Samuel L Mutha-fuggin Jackson has said that the Avengers will start shooting next year and after that will be a SHIELD movie on Radio Bigboy. he also confirmed he will appear in the Cap America flick.

A S.H.I.E.L.D movie might be tough. I'm trying to think of what the entry point would be. It's founding with Howard Stark, Nick and some others?
At some point after its been up and running awhile with cameos from some Invaders.
Would it play more like a superhero flick or a spy flick?

Michael Chiklis's character from The Shield, a cop show that was on FX. I never watched it, but it had critical buzz for some time.

I'm just hoping the SHIELD movie will have Scarlett Johansson in it. And that she'll improve her acting between now and then.
Aren't the F4 rights the same as the X-Men & Ghost Rider, if a movie isn't made soon, they revert back to Marvel?

Which is exactly why the holders of the F4 rights are probably going to make sure they get a new F4 movie in production before those rights revert. That's why Fox keeps making X-Men movies and Sony keeps making Spider-Man movies -- they don't want to lose the rights.
I've been pining for a properly done S.H.I.E.L.D. movie for years...and with Sam Jackson how can you go wrong? I second Scarlett Johansson being in it and you could cast Sharon Carter. Is there a online report on this?
only what was on Comic Book Resources. from the radio interview. there's nothing 100% concrete beyond SLJ saying it's going to happen.
