Okay. this statement is ignorant and borderline moronic. The reason they didn't know about the incident because the Enterprise C TIME TRAVELLED 20 years into the future.....Ah okay thanks for that then. One could argue then that the reason they weren't able to determine what happened to the Enterprise-C in their time line is because the incident that happened in our time line cause theirs didn't happen in theirs. It is possible that their Enterprise C was lost in the line of duty some other way though I won't dispute that. The point of Yesterday's Enterprise though in my opinion is what I mentioned before with Guinian's line that the whole thing was wrong. It was never meant to exist in the first place.![]()
Temporal mechanics already gives me enough of a headache, without my also having to determine whether posts like this count as flaming or not.

I fully accept that you have phrased it carefully so the statement is classed as "ignorant and borderline moronic" rather than classing the poster as that, so technically it's fine. But I'd ask - purely as a fellow poster rather than as a mod, since this request is largely unenforceable by the rules (unless it becomes a really consistent/long-term pattern leading to a cumulative effect, which it isn't in your case) - to consider how the other party may feel when throwing around such strong statements as that. The TNG forum - certainly compared to some of the other forums on the board - is generally pretty laid-back and friendly, as you know.
