Any fans of Star Trek: Legacy?

I feel that this is a very underated game, while it has its problems(ie: bad collision detection, super hard and no margin for error AI, and a muttled connecting story) I feel that the good far outweights the bad, awesome graphics, detailed starships, the chance to fight as the klingons, romulans, and the borg, this game made me feel like i was fighting in epic trek space battles. i hope we see a sequel down the line, with more ships, and diffrent races to play as. anyone else love this game, or any other older trek games?

I played this on the Xbox 360, I liked it a lot. I hear the PC version was pants though!

I enjoyed it for what it was--a decent starship combat game featuring the voices of all five captains that was very incomplete, with several missions and the connecting story (the cutscenes are only bonus content) not included (and never patched). Which is still disappointing.

never played the PC version, but the XBOX 360 version was good, you could see where they were going with the story, would have loved to see actually cut sences, it would have made the story better, but the ship combat was great, i would love to see a trek game with similar combat, but with a more polished presentation.

I played the XBox 360 version and it pretty much sucked. It might have been okay if they'd had some decent cutscenes, but just having the camera focus on a ship and having Picard/Archer/Sisko/Kirk's voice come out of it was just plain STUPID. Got really annoying after a while.

Piece of crap, that one. Stick to Bridge commander if you wannt GOOD space battles that aren't so far dumbed down that even an ape with Down-Syndrome could play it...

Have to disagree on pretty much every point. The graphics were outdated (pretty much the same as Bridge Commander, and worse in many cases), poor combat controls, ridiculous storyline, complete squandering of the voice contributions by all five captains (the removal of most of the DS9 content was an absolute crime, considering this was likely the final performance by Avery Brooks as Sisko) and I could go on and on.

There is pretty much zero chance for a sequel, because the game sold very poorly.

It's has the honor of being the only Trek game I played through one time only. Never had any desire to play it again. The PC version wasn't very good.

The 360 version was the best of the two, and thats not saying much, the PC version was a really shoddy port from the console version, but that said the PC version does have some good mods available for it, i certainly would suggest if you have the PC version get it modded before playing it.

Which is really sad, when fans-created mods have to fix a game that the developers couldn't bother to release in a playable form.

With Bridge Commander, in comparison, the fan mods were fantastic and really brought the game to the next level, but it was a great game to begin with even unmodded.
