A Dream

I don't usually remember my dreams after waking up, and I cannot remember ever having a Doctor Who dream, but I had one last night.

In the dream, I was watching an episode of the new Who, and Matt Smith was the Doctor. The Tardis lands in London, in its "new/old" look, like it did back in the 60s.

While the Doctor (he doesn't have a companion) is out exploring, Ian Chesterton stumbles across it. He has flashbacks to his adventures with his Doctor. He grabs his chest, but instead of acting like he's having a heart attack, he grabs the Tardis key, unlocks the door, and goes inside.

He stumbles inside, falls down and passes out. When he comes to, the current Doctor is standing over him, calling him Chesterfield. Ian asks who this guy is, and where the Doctor is.

And just when the Doc opens his mouth to say something, my damned alarm clock went off.

Anyone else have Who dreams?

 That's kind of awesome!

If I've ever had a Who dream, I certainly do not remember it...

As do I. That would be a great scene/episode.

And I had a Doctor Who dream once. I remember a few vague snippets but essentially, the Daleks had invaded Earth and I was one of the lucky ones that managed to escape extermination and start up a resistance.

 does anyone have dreams that dont steal from 1st Doctor stories?

Actually, this was more a based on "Journey's End/Stolen Earth". They were Daleks from the revived series. And some of them spoke German. ;)

I have actually had Doctor Who dreams before, dont recall any at the moment however, to be honest my dreams normally end with a puddle of drool on my pillow,

I had a Doctor Who dream a few months ago, although the Doctor wasn't in it. It was Michael Jackson vs. the Sontarans. The Sontarans were the good guys (and I think I was one).

Put me in the camp that wants to see some kind of Ian Chesterton tie-in on the new series. Even if it's an indirect thing like introducing a new companion named Barbara Chesterton, named after her grandmother of course. I can just imagine her 1st conversation on her souped up cell phone. "Grandad? It's Barbara. Listen, I can't come to dinner tonight. I've kind of gone on this last-minute vaction thing. ... No, I'm not alone. There's kind of this guy with me. He calls himself the Doctor. ... Grandad? ... Grandad, stop screaming."

I had an 11th Doctor dream last night, well ok he appeared in one very long & complicated dream, so ill give you the Doctor highlights.

The Doctor shows up for no reason I remeber, and he moves around looking for something followed by a group of people, I am close to him and talk to him, I tell him he acts to much like the 10th Doctor, and he gets angry, I figure its best I not mention that again.

anyways we leave the place where we are, and the Doctor tells me he has a girl friend (I swear I wasnt hitting on him) and the dream shows me a dumpy looking brunette who I think is his gf, who seems uninterested and totally unspectacular.

theDoctor continues to look for something, and the group continues to follow him, we stop at a house, and the Doctor goes in, the Doctor gets stuck inside and turns into a cat.

When he gets out a tall woman with dark hair (very attractive) turns him back into theDoctor with magical powers.

at this point the dream becomes about something else, and theDoctor no longer features, before the Doctor showed up the dream was about incestuous sibling child killers on the run from the law (not me & my sister, I would like to add)

I too would like Ian to appear in the new series. I always imagined a deathbed reunion with the doctor turning up to say goodbye.

In fact I would actually like a whole episode dedicated to the Doctor visiting past companions either pro-actively seeking them out or just by chance. Somehow I don't think this will ever happen.

I am still hoping the Doctor gets to see the Brig one last time before Nicholas Courtney carks it.

Yeah, I thought of something similar, but envisioned the grandkid as a guy...prolly cause of the "Johnny Chess" thing. But either way, yes, it would be nice to have some tie back to Ian.

Companions need an angle, and that's one we haven't seen yet. Relative of someone who's been a companion. I think it'd make a great season long "b" story, like they did with Jackie and Mickey. Maybe it ends with Ian passing away, I dunno. Could be very touching.

this is a pretty good idea actually

I had a dream a while back. At first, it started out completely unrelated to Who; I was with a friend or two, wandering around in a parking lot near some old buildings.

At one point, one of us decided it was a good idea to sneak into some old passages underneath the buildings. There we found a bunch of zombies and the Doctor (I can't remember which one, probably 10). We ran away from the zombies, until we were cornered at the top of a flight of stairs that went nowhere. When the zombies reached the top, I knocked it over the edge down several flights of stairs.

The Doctor got pretty mad at me for doing that, but the zombie didn't seem to mind; he just started back up the stairs again. Apparently, I won the high score for doing that, though, and at that point I woke up.
