I am beyond pissed off. Our cable company is in a battle with ABC7 and it looks like we won't be getting the OSCARS tonight!!!!!!!!! Meaning i won't get to see Chris live!!!! I'll have to wait to catch him on Youtube or something.

So, I'm not even watching the Oscars, but my step mom is watching it in the other room. I was sitting here in the living room and all I hear coming out of my step mom's bedroom is "Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome Chris Pine." I jumped up and RAN down the hallway and flew into my step mom's bedroom and planted myself in front of her TV until Chris was no longer on the stage. He's looking good tonight!

Heh, in the pic of the two of them leaving the party Zach looks like a deer caught in the headlights!
So, for the first 45 minutes of the Oscars we did not have ABC7, BUT it did come on in time for me to see Chris present the clip from District 9. And i did catch him on E at the very end of the red carpet stuff...
The camera showed him with his mom 3 times i think (in the audience) during the awards. He got more camera time than a lot of other people. I was happy!
And i was even happier that he was with his MOM rather than with she who shall not be named.
EDIT: I was surprised that Zach wasn't at the Oscars. Or we didn't see him anyway.

Some Small Town Saturday Night news!!!!!!!! Can you tell I am excited!!! I found out purely by accident while surfing the web (Google is your friend) that it's coming out on dvd June 1, 2010, and is available for preorder on Amazon. I can't wait to get home to preorder it. Finally!!!!!!

Pam, so i don't remember. Did STSN have a limited release or is it going straight to dvd? And what happened with Carriers?

Randi, it looks like STSN is going straight to dvd. It's being released by Lionsgate. I am really disappointed in that but at least we can get it on dvd unless something happens between now and the release date of June 1, 2010. Hopefully that won't happen as I will be crushed. Carriers is out on dvd. I have my copy but haven't watched it yet. I'm saving it for this weekend.

LOVING the latest pic. He wears those scarves so well. I just wish he didn't always look so pissy when his picture is taken. It really bothers me.

Here's a picture of the Small Town Saturday Night dvd cover that's on Amazon. Can't wait to see this movie and hear Chris sing and play guitar.
Randi, I too wish the paparazzi didn't bother him so much. I like that he lets them know he's not happy about them following him but I wish they'd leave him alone. Did you see the interview on Extra he did with Zach where the interviewer asked if they were prepared for the paparazzi interest and Zach responded that he and Chris couldn't imagine that would happen? He said no one's going to be interested in taking pictures of him walking his dog. The interviewer said she could see that happening and it did. I met a paparazzi years ago and he was pretty nice, a total exception to most of them and he knew it. He didn't like it that a lot of them harassed celebrities. He limited his picture taking to events like premieres, plays, theater appearances, etc. and didn't believe in following them in their private lives. Wonder if he's still in the business.

PAM: I probably did see it since i was glued to my computer for weeks on end looking up videos of him...how could they not think they wouldn't be fodder for the paps after this movie?
Im sure it sucks big time having them follow you where ever you go. But it is a trade off. It comes with the territory. Sure, i think it's wrong when they get in your face or bother friends and family. But to be walking on the street and give a pissy face to the photographers is wrong, in my opinion.

Helloooo! I'm back. Been having very sore eyes lately. It is so nice to see you all again and try to catch up on the news that fit and unfit to print about Chris Pine!
