Uh, changes nothing. There's still no guarantee Spock Prime will be in the next movie. And even if he is, there still has to be a need that he will refer to Janeway (and that's even assuming that he even knows a lot about her at all).pooka said:uh spock prime came from a period several years past where the recent books are..C.E. I like Janeway, but I also don't have a problem with her being dead in the novels either. Starship captains may seem immortal, but they really aren't and sometimes they do die tragically. Janeway's death was a major point of focus in "Full Circle" and her passing had major consequences for characters like Chakotay and Tuvok (whose reaction made me like him even more than I already did).
I think the chances of Janeway being resurrected will depend on whether or not she's referenced in any future Trek movie or TV show that places her past 2381 or whatever. In the meantime, I'm digging the both familiar and unfamiliar turns VOY has taken in the books of late.

Which would be silly silly because it would be someone talking about what someone else said about someone a century from now in another timeline.and it wouldnt even need nimoy..it could be a reference like elder spock said blah blah..
