Was an Ok Show

Welcome to the forum, zombieChan. We love T'Pol too. But we like her best when her pictures are of reasonable size (640p max) and not hotlinked.

Have a look at the FAQ for parameters about posting images, and enjoy the board.

I liked T'Pol as well, but she looked her best in a standard Starfleet Uniform. As for the show as a whole, it's probably my second favorite after DS9.

Enterprise is my second favorite show after TNG. I like DS9 too, but I just feel more comfortable watching Enterprise. As for T'Pol, I liked many other characters better than her. I liked her the most in the last two seasons.

i really enjoyed enterprise and was sad to see it leave, they had so many stories they could have done, also t'pol in th white uniform was worth any canon errors.

I enjoyed it as well. I was very disappointed that it didn't continue, especially since season 4 was so damn good.

I like Enterprise. Not as much as DS9, but at least equally as TOS and the better seasons of TNG. The first season was OK, the second was bad although with a couple of good episode, but the last two were excellent. I liked most of the characters (except for poor Travis, who was never really fleshed out so I was indifferent to him), and T'Pol was my favorite, but probably not for the same reasons. ;)

I wouldn't really call 800x800 pixels and 75 KB image ginormous, but whatever...

@zombieChan51 - welcome to TrekBBS's official T'Pol appreciation zone, the ENT forum! I'm Mach5, board's resident asshole. You won't like me. :D

Not many fans of "Extinction," but I loved T'Pol's look in it.

I found Hoshi to be more attractive, but whatever :p

I thought Hoshi was cute, for sure. On the rare occasion she brought her "sexy" out, she was downright hot.

Of course I dig T'Pol, but I'm not a fan of fake boobs. She still looked pretty good to me though, mainly because of her exoticness.

I'm watching Enterprise for the first time and have gotten to episode 21 of season 1. So far, color me underwhelmed. I've liked perhaps one episode so far (Shuttlepod One) and even that one was nothing very special.

And T'Pol - she must be the most bored-sounding Vulcan I've ever heard! She isn't unemotional or disinterested - she sounds like she's rolling her eyes half the time.

Wow I was hooked very early on in season 1 (like, halfway through Broken Bow). I went into the Enterprise experience with a very negative attitude, having been one of those to dub it the "franchise killer". By the end of the series, it was my favorite of the 4 modern series. For me, S3 is the best season of any Trek, and the last 3 episodes of S3 is the best that Trek has ever been for me.

I've heard that S3 and S4 are excellent, and am definitely going to watch the whole series. If I survived the first season of B5 and still love the story, I can survive the first season of any Trek series...

It's sad that B&B couldn't get Tpol's appearance, especially her eyebrows, right during the first two seasons. If you take into account how bad most of the stories were in the first two seasons of The Next Generation, Enterprise was a masterpice. People forget some of the crap stories TNG had especially in season one and it should have been cancelled in it's first season.

My suggestion - fast forward through season 2 (it made a lot of viewers give up on the show, try to endure its many weak-points) , because S3 brings some pretty radical changes, especially for the T'Pol character.

And that drab catsuit was really awful. It was ugly and she just looked skinny in it. She looked much better when she changed from it into something better-looking in season 3.

Character-wise, I always liked her. Granted, I seem to have an affinity for Vulcans, but it was an interesting take, and she was allowed to actually develop and change, unlike most other Trek Vulcan characters, who would only show their emotional, passionate side in extraordinary circumstances and then go back to normal, until the next space disease or spore infection or Pon Farr or mind meld with a psycho or whatever. (Spock only started to change in the movies, not in the show.) I don't understand why people diss Jolene Blalock's acting, I don't know what she's like in anything else, but I thought she was really good as T'Pol.

OK, lets see... I've seen her in Jason and the argonatus, and she was... Not good. I've also seen her in Slow Burn where she was... Hmmm.... Not good. I've seen about 30 minutes of Starship Troopers III, she wasn't any worse than Casper Van Dien, but that's hardly a challenge, isn't it?..
Shadow Puppets, well, I've endured about 20 minutes of that sh#tfest, and Jolene was down right terrible.

All in all, I can only conclude that Jolene Blalock has exactly zero acting talent, but for some reason, she was almost perfect as T'Pol... Go figure.
