Favorite Riker Moment

All of Future Imperfect was wonderful.

Also, there was a throwaway moment in an episode. I can't remember which one, but it was probably Season 3 or 4. I think Data was watching Riker in Ten Forward. Riker was having a conversation w/ an attractive young African-descent woman. He looks totally charming as he smiles, gets up, then whispers something in her ear that makes her smile as he walks toward Data. It just showed Frakes' natural acting ability and his charm.

^ That reminds me of another favourite moment of mine. I think it's from
Evolution (but it might not be). Riker is in Ten Forward with a companion.
Wesley appears, obviously looking for some advice. Riker excuses himself
to the woman, saying it's "a family emergency." It's a sweet scene, and I wish I could recall which episode it's from.

Hmm. Maybe we're thinking of the same scene, but I could never hear what he whispered to the woman. I always assumed it was flirtatious.

Not really a Riker moment I guess since it's out of character, more of a Frakes moment, but I love his delivery of "You're a dead man, Apgar!" in A Matter of Perspective. Great unintentional hilarity.

"Pinnochio is broken. It's strings have been cut." is another good one. He really was devastating as the prosecution in The Measure of a Man. Then Picard comes back with an even better rebuttal. Good episode.

I was laughed at ALL the holodeck simulations. The way the woman portrays him as a cad is hilarious and the way Riker acts it out is priceless. I love how he stresses pronouncing her name "Hello...MAN-yoo-AH" and calls her "a princess in a very tall tower". Frakes just nailed playing that sleazebag version of Riker.

I like when he cooks for his friends in "Clues" too. Everyone hates his eggs except Worf. When he says, "a cook is only as good as his ingredients", it's such a fun moment where he's smiling, but he's a little disappointed in himself.

Good thread thanks everyone. I just only had a chance to come back and check it out now since I moved to another town and just got my internet back. I thought of another one while reading these ... the scene in (can't remember the exact episode name) where the crew de-evolved and he was acting like a gorilla in the captain's ready room lol

Riker's face in season 2's "Manhunt" when Deanna tells him what happens to Betazoid women as they "mature".

TROI: My mother is beginning a physiological phase. It's one that all Betazoid women must deal with as they enter mid-life.
RIKER: Yes, it's something Troi warned me about when we first started to see each other. A Betazoid woman, when she goes through this phase, quadruples her sex drive.
TROI: Or more.
RIKER: Or more? You never told me that.
TROI: I didn't want to frighten you.

Another good moment I think is the scene where Riker claps after being awoken during Data's poetry in Schisms.

^ I think we may be. The scene I'm thinking of is from PenPals (I thought it had to be season 2). It starts on this screencap page and continues on the next: http://tng.trekcore.com/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=40&page=6

That's it! Good sleuthin' work.

I rewatched the episode last night, and that's definitely it. When he sees Wes, he gets up and says "Family emergency" to her. I can hear that. At the end of the scene, he whispers something to her ear, and she laughs again. What did he say then - "Meet me later at the holodeck?"
