Without new episodes, and with many other forums where you can talk about everything else, it is inevitable that these forums will slow down. People will move on. There's only so many times you can discuss Voyager's shuttle supply.

History: I made my first post almost 10 years ago. But then I didn't come back for several months before posting regularly. So technically it's almost 10 years, but it's really 9 years since I started posting furrealz.
