I think JJ Abrams and Orci and Kurtzman need to write in a character wearing a Sombrero and someone else referencing Robau simply because WE DEMANDED IT!

Lieutenant Hernandez...the great-grandson of Captain Erika Hernandez from ENTERPRISE! And he keeps a traditional sombrero in his quarters and loves Starfleet history, so he makes constant references to Robau!

 

It came to me in a vision from the Great Robau himself.

^Should he be a Kelvin survivor, or just love Robau from instinct/learning about the awesome?

 

Hernandez can be a fan of the Mighty Bald One from his days in school and the Academy...he wouldn't be old enough to have been on the Kelvin itself.

I like it! Kind of a 2003-era Cartoon Network CLONE WARS or SAMURAI JACK take on the character...not the best cartoon interpretation of him to be sure, but nice!

 

I must insist that Lieutenant Hernandez' first name be Keith, of course. And his sombrero must be blue and orange.

 

This is the BWN thread. Anything goes. The only thing that can be "shoehorned" into it would be actual mentioning *of* blue warp nacelles.

 

With rare exception we ALL have lives outside of Trek. If baseball has been banned, it would logically follow that ALL non-trek references are also banned: music not played on a Trek series, sports not played onscreen, everything must go. It will make for a very boring thread, but rules are rules... or is that an actual TrekBBS rule?
