"King of Belgium, apparently!"
It's still a better hit/miss ratio than Rustbucket. And Gatiss has also written some DW books and audio. I'm fairly confident he'll deliver.(That said, it's Mark Gatiss who's written this year's ep, and he's one of my favourite Who writers, so fingers crossed!)
Really? I mean, I absolutely adore "The Unquiet Dead," and count it among my absolute favorite episodes of the revival, but "The Idiot's Lantern" is the textbook definition of bland. I don't even remember a single thing from it outside of the Doctor / police interrogation.

DWM is the best TV-based magazine I have read. Very few ads, very much content (including a monthly column by Moffat and an ongoing comic). I gave up reading the Star Trek and Star Wars mags ages ago, but I still buy this. Definitely worth it.Speaking of Doctor Who Magazine, is it worth getting?
What, both of them? It's intelligent, it's funny, it's willing to be critical, and there's a lot more to read in an average issue than there is in the other two SFTV mags I read, Trek and Torchwood. (I can't really recommend the Torchwood mag to anyone but diehard fans, though.)
Hmmm.. I may have to reconsider getting it.. I'll have to check with my local comic shop to see if they'll start carrying it.. Will be a good excuse to *ahem* drop by.. If my wallet's a bit heavy with extra cash for some titles, so be it..![]()
Won't my wife be pleased.. LOL
