That's how I feel watching Heroes nowadays. The crap I'll go through for Milo's sake....sheesh.

Heroes season 4 is a fine season, well above the "quality" of the third.

Season 5 not the really good part? It was head and shoulders above Season 6 in my book, though they were both good.

Oh so true. I liked the S4 pilot all right, but haven't seen much beyond that, yet. The thing is, you can only save the world so many times. I think that if I had to save the world every year, only to behold the fruitless victory until the next nefarious plot appears on the horizon.... I'd get to the "why bother" set of mind in no time at all. If the world is so hellbent on getting destroyed, then let's get it over with. Christ on a Zeppelin.

Note he said that he was just STARTING season 5.

IMO, the last three seasons are the best. Thus my comment that he had not gotten to the good part yet. IMO, he was just getting to it, but had not seen it yet.

Although I would rank them differently than you would. My ranking would be:

^ Yup, I'm working my way through Season 5. In fact, I just watched "Trials and Tribble-ations" ... now that was one hilarious Trek episode. A perfect tribute, IMO.

Thus far, I'd say each season is getting successively better. And to think that the series will get even better? Can't wait!

I found it really good right up until the Federation retakes DS9.

All the middle eps of series 6 are a bit like.... what were they thinking... I guess they ran out of money. It's just one drama ep after another.

It's obvious they spent lots of money on "One Little Ship" and "Valiant" but I don't think they were really that good.

The red squad kid captain is possibly the charactor I hate the most from the entire show. He ruins that entire episode.

I love Valiant. For my money it was one of the best episodes of Season 6, better indeed than half of the occupation arc episodes.

Agreed. There are occasional bad episodes here and there, like all the Star Trek series, but for the most part, DS9 is one of the franchise's high points.

Exactly how I feel.

The pilot hooked me, and every season is better than the last, which is saying something by the time you get to S7. A phenominal show, and always good to have more Niners aboard.
