Yesterday I was reminded yet again how I have to be comfortable with being of a minority opinion.
I work at Future Shop and yesterday they had Star Trek (2009) as a demo movie on one of the big screen TVs on display. It was quiet late in the afternoon and so a few people were watching some scenes from the film. Some asked why I didn't seem interested. I replied that I didn't like the film and in fact that I liked nothing about the film. I really didn't elaborate much beyond that.
My question here, though, isn't to discuss this particular film, but rather to ask folks if they've ever found themselves in a similar situation.
Has there ever been a film (or films) that was well received and most if not everyone around you seemed to like and yet you didn't like or couldn't stand?
