Is any good Scifi on tonight?

Hmmm...there's Sanctuary season finale...Dollhouse-second to last episode...Star Wars Clone Wars repeat. Medium and Ghost Whisperer...Supernanny.
Hey, A magical Brit nanny straightening out unruly kiddies.

Re-watching the Dune miniseries on DVD.

Stage trappings or no, it's really quite good.

It's certainly not up to the standards of Children of Dune, but it has a certain charm all its own.

I can actually understand that. It is a bit slow-paced for a film. I prefer to think of it as "accurate", though, since it mostly sticks very close to the novel.

I wonder what the next Spaced based series will be. There always seemed to be one at one time or another (BSG, Doctor Who, which is more earth based, but they do travel in space sometimes, Star Trek) but now it does seem pretty dead.

As for Scifi I'm looking forward to, I rented Moon yesterday and want to see that this weekend.

It put me to sleep 3 times before I managed to finish it.

I got thru Dune just fine. It's Children of Dune that put me to sleep.

The CW may be launching a teens-in-space show. Plymouth Rock: drama about young people on a ship traveling to a distant planet in order to colonize and save the human race.

I'm sorry to have to say I'm not joking about that. :rommie:

It's certainly not the lightest reading around. As I recall I found the early chapters a bit of a chore as well. Need to re-read it one of these days and see what I think now.
