best FROZEN PIZZA

yeah..the very thought of a frozen pizza makes my head spin. But sometimes, I will take a risk, and try one out. What do you think is the best frozen pizza?

I recently tried a RED BARON frozen pizza and it wasn't that bad..I actually could TASTE the cheese and pepperoni...

Used to eat Red Baron, but I don't know if they changed the sauce or the cheese, but something's missing now. Degornios (?) is the freezer-pizza of choice these days.
 
I eat frozen pizza at least once a week, usually Tombstone.

Jack's is good if you want to eat pizza-flavored cardboard, which I admit I have actually craved before.

DiGiorno is okay, but I'm not a huge fan of the crust.

Home Run Inn is always delicious, though it's saltier than most.
 
I always end up 'doctoring' any frozen pizza but I like the Stouffer's French Bread pizzas quite a bit. All they need is a sprinkling of Italian herbs and it's quite tasty.

I've had Home Run Inn, you're right, it is salty, but yeah, it is great. I've only had it once because it's very pricey here. I usually buy the local Kroger brand pizza (self rising crust kind) and it's pretty decent, particularly for $2.99. In fact, that's what we just had for dinner. :D

I'd have to go with the Digiorno original rising crust. Not half bad.

But it doesn't even come close to a Papa Murphy's Take-n-Bake. Good stuff there.

I like those as well, I also like Mama Celeste Supreme.

I would never microwave any frozen pizza, my toaster oven is my best friend. :lol:
 
Microwave + Pizza = Fail. Toaster oven or oven is the only way.

As I said in the other pizza thread, the best way to reheat pizza is on the stovetop. Heat a skillet on low until it's heated through, then put the pizza in and cover it. The pan acts as a stone, while the lid retains the moisture. This method works best with stainless steel, although non-stick pans will work in a pinch. (Don't do it with cast iron, though, as you'll vulcanize the pizza.)
