That old Plastic man cartoon

I have vague memories of a Plastic man cartoon from when I was a really young kid. I noticed they have it on Netflix. The ratings people gave it are extremely low. Has anyone seen it? It would have been network tv, so I'm expecting it to suck pretty badly.

It was produced by (Joe)Ruby-(Ken)Spears for ABC, after leaving Hanna Barbera to form their own studio. Their early shows so closely resembled H-B's it wa often difficult to tell them apart at first glance. This was a comedy, and yes, they recycled every plot they used on their H-B shows a zillion times over.
Here's the intro...brace yourself.

I did when I was a kid, and yes, I can say that it does suck shit and then some.

Here's something even better than the crappy '80's Plastic Man show; a pilot for a new Plastic Man show that Cartoon Network didn't bother to air because it's now a shitty channel: [yt]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vn74McRwEg0&feature=related"]Plastic Man TV Pilot[/yt]

I always thought Plastic man was creepy. Not b/c of his stretching power, just that greasy hair & those huge shades. And that outfit. And that huge grin. Eew.

OMG! I remember that show. It was back in the '80s when I watched it. The opening theme, his girlfriend Penny, his Asian-Pacific friend Hula ... As I recall, later on they added a Baby Plas character, son of Plastic Man. I didn't start reading DC comics until 2004, and only then did I realize Plastic Man was even a DC character.
