Your scifi presents. Did you get any?

Submitted for your approval, a reproduction of the devil-headed fortune-telling machine from that old TWILIGHT ZONE episode with William Shatner. (No, not "Nightmare at 20,000 Feet. The other one.)

Very cool.

1) Death Ray

2) Killer Robot

3) Mind control device

:shifty: Perhaps I've said too much :shifty:

 - oh wait, you're serious.....

As for my part, I have to expand the question a wee bit to "Geek" as opposed to only sci-fi:
- first four series of the new "Doctor Who" (now DWF can have his sets back)
- ticket to the "Star Wars In Concert" event and the joy of taking my son to same
- webcam/mic
- green laser pointer (5mw)

I bought myself a few gifts as reward for landing a job back in September after 8months unemployed. Thanks to Amazon.com I got SG-1, Farscape and B5:Crusade all of them the complete series.

I also got Terminator Salvation and Watchmen on Blu Ray.
The irony, I don't have a Blu Ray player. My brother in law tried telling my sister that.

I got a Star Trek snuggie.
Pic please? What image is on that?

I'm going to try and make SG-1 last a long time and stick to 1-2 episodes a day. When I watched DS9, BSG, B5 and NuWho this year, I sped through them at a couple of discs per day, which I regret doing.
How did you do that? Do you have a stay at home job or something? Couple of discs per day? The only time I did that was 6yrs ago(watched TNG) when I was unemployed no way that much could be watched with an 8-5 working schedule.

I got an Olympic Class starship model from Federation Models along with my first airbrush paint set!

BSG: The Plan
Primeval S2
a live Glommer(anybody know where i can get some tribble pinkies?) :)

Sci-Fi related items I received this year were the District 9 DVD and the Ghostbuster XBox 360 game. I gave my wife Dragonage: Origins for the 360 (it's an awesome game).

Was that like a bowling ball with Homer written on it or does she really like video games?

I've always wanted my very own Devil head fortune telling machine. Where did it come from?

I got the Deluxe version of Tron from a girlfriend.:techman:

It's been sitting in my Amazon wishlist for ages and i completely forgot about it until it arrived in the mail.

My brother got me the "steelbook" 2-disc version of Star Trek XI on DVD. That was the only sci-fi related gift I wanted this year.

I got a Star Trek snuggie.

There are Star Trek snuggies?
Yup. :) As I recall they have the ship and the shield on them along with the classic logo.

I almost got one but opted for a Disney one instead.

But for the holidays I did get the latest Star Trek Monopoly set and a Cadet McCoy figure from the film along with the film on dvd. :techman:

I was surprised too. Technically, it is called a "Comfy Throw", but it's a snuggie. Its from the new movie. It has a pattern of the Enterprise, the 4-color delta shield, and "Star Trek" printed in the TOS way. I'd take a picture and post it, but I do not have my camera-to-computer connecting cable with me.

Here is a picture of it. I have no idea who that is in the picture. I randomly pulled it from the net.

Only SCIFI thing I got was the Star Trek DVD

I was blessed though to get other things I really needed

Don't know if it counts as SCIFI or not, I guess more fantasy, but I got my sister the Twilight Scene It game and New Moon Calendar

It was from a company called "Biff Bang Pow!" I think they might be based out of Texas.

The funny thing, I still don't know who sent me this gift. There was no tag or card enclosed. It just appeared out of . . . The Twilight Zone.
