As sloppy as it was at times, the Eagles/Giants game was definitely entertaining. A lot more so than the Packers/Bears game. Once again, I'm glad the Packers won, but once again I was underwhelmed by their performance.
It's usually pretty ugly when we go to Soldier Field at least since the spaceship landed on top of it. A NFC win, a Giants loss in that Philly circus and boom, 2 game lead with 3 to play for the wildcard... Very good weekend in the end. The Browns even went ahead and broke Pitt's spirits. If we go out there with any focus we should be able to blow them out. It might just be Favrageddon in the playoffs at this rate!As sloppy as it was at times, the Eagles/Giants game was definitely entertaining. A lot more so than the Packers/Bears game. Wow, the Pats remembered how to win (finally).
I don't remember if this was posted when it first happened...

This is pretty bizarre, even for Bears' fans....
I tried to believe in Tomlinson. Drafted him in both my fantasy leagues. His uninspiring numbers have helped torpedo team 1 out of the playoffs. My money league team may suffer the same fate if he doesn't get his head out of his ass.San Diego...SUPERCHARGERS..san diego..SUPERCHARGERS!!!
(loved that old disco song)

A win's a win, but yeah, they'll need to kick it up a notch going down the stretch if they want to have any chance in the postseason.Wow, the Pats remembered how to win (finally).
Yeah, but did that inspire much confidence in you?
The crowd was dead and half empty. Moss checked out early. They just looked uninspired in general.
At least Faulk and Welker showed up.
It's good to see another Packers win this week. Combined with a Giants loss, Green Bay is pretty much a shoe in for the second wild card slot. The only way to prevent it at this point is if the Giants win all of their final three games while Green Bay loses all of their final three. Given what the rest of the schedule looks like- that isn't too likely. :-)
Not quite. There's also this scenario where GB loses out and SF wins out and the 49ers grab the last playoff spot:

or this scenario where GB wins 1 out of 3 of its final games, but the Cowboys and Giants win out and edge GB in the tiebreaker:
http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/playoffscenario?algorithm=custom&14=44014115&15=51000041&16=55051505
But of course, none of those is very likely.
The Cardinals had more turnovers than Sara Lee last night....
The suits at the NFL Network must be creaming their shorts over having the two undefeated teams playing in their primetime games this week.
The Thursday games usually suck and the NFL Network programs are garbage.
