If you could take a ST music track....

Voyagerian

Commander
Red Shirt
from any which show or film...and use it-yes, it HAS been done, and not without some success-for another ST series/film/project/idea...what might it be?....

Sorry. Well, what I am getting at is this for ex: In TOS, the Mirror, Mirror theme was used in other episodes in a dramatic or menacing situation...or the Fesarius from 'Corbomite' in this or that ep...granted, the original composers weren't too keen on such practices, and one can understand that, particularly for an artist...but I grew up hearing these themes throughout TOS, and back then as a kid, it wasn't something to really take issue with, and I still don't personally..they are good classic themes, wherever they end up.Sometimes I have often listened to some track, from say an Enterprise ep, or say from Insurrection, and imagine it used in another capacity, in another scene that's different yet emotionally or dramatically similar...my notion is what kind of scene, other than the one intended, could you see this or that music piece written for?Oh, well, it was a shot...no biggie.

Well, James Horner is kind of notorious for recycling his themes. You can find TWOK in "Cocoon" and "Aliens", for instance. I think there even used to be a website with compare and contrast examples.

The TMP/TNG theme would be fun for any scene in which a man dressed as a clown is running through a crowded grocery store with a blow torch.
