Easy things you suck at doing

I can't whistle either. No matter, how hard I try.

Also, I'm bad at mental math even if the numbers I've got to sum-up are actually small. It takes me ages to do while everybody else just needs a look and immediately knows the answer, let's say in the supermarket, calculating the price tags.

Cooking scrambled eggs. I can cook all sorts of lovely things, including a decent omelet, but I cannot get plain ol' scrambled eggs right.

Oh, this is one thing I can actually do. I don't like eggs but my husband does so I learned quite a while back. Where do you go wrong when you try to scramble eggs? And I totally won't judge you. I can make lovely macaroni and cheese from basic ingredients but I seem unable to master the Kraft box kind.

fingers...:wtf:
Then what is this 'it'?
It doesn't make that snapping sound that other people are able to make with their fingers.

"It" would be her attempt to snap her fingers.

Perhaps the pronoun "they' would have been more appropriate, but it really doesn't make much difference.....

Goodness, so much confusion! Yes, I was referring to the attempt to snap my fingers. I was thinking of the particular action of trying to snap my fingers and thus used "it" instead of they. Sorry if that was unclear.

I'm the same.

I am a rockstar at math if I can do it on paper, but I'm rather slow doing it in my head. I have a hard time visualizing the numbers.

I usually suck at small talk, because I get bored or irritated hearing about people's lives and have little going on in my own to share.

Maybe it's a regional thing? If someone mentioned not being able to snap, I wouldn't have thought of anything else besides snapping one's fingers.

Opening a beer bottle with nothing but a lighter/screwdriver/basically anything harder than paper (mind you we in Germany don't have screw bottles.. we have crown corks)

All my friends know how to (even some of my female friends) but if i don't have a proper bottle opener i'm literally screwed

I usually find a table-top with a sharp edge to it and whack the bottle on it.

It may cause damage to the table.

I suck at Math. I can't do it in my head and it takes ages to do it on paper. I can't work out what the tip is on a bill or figure out the sales tax without a calculator. I am mathematically handicapped.

I suck at math so much, I should have a special parking space.

On my SATs, I was in the top 2% for English, and in the bottom 20% for Math. It's just sad.

Take the first number on the bill (or first two numbers if it's over $100) and double it. It'll be close enough.

So if the bill is $30.00, double the 3 and leave $6.

If the bill is $150.00, double the 15 and leave $30.

Lighting matches.

If we were stuck in the woods, with a single match to save us all by lighting a fire, we'd be screwed.
I've made a fire using a stick, twine and chunk of wood, but I cannot properly strike a match to save my life.

^ Oh, I've never lit a match. I don't know if I could do it or not as I've never even attempted it, so I'm not sure that counts here.

Well, it's harder than it looks!
You know, I'm always amazed by the people who can strike a match on anything and get a flame, first time. There's a friend of mine who has struck a match on his face, and it lit!

You need to try and strike a match and let me know (not on your face though! I tried that once and it hurt!). :D

Opening and closing screw-top lids. Even though I know (finally - that took a lot of years!) which way the top should go to either open or close, I still get it wrong.
