I'm on the hunt for some boots like these. My tall boots are falling apart. I wouldn't mind having a nice coat like this one, though.

She looks nice, but I'd suggest the coat is too light a shade for her and it washes her out slightly. The riding boots are really nice though it slightly bugs me that her lovely handbag is such a different colour.

Anyway, if you fancy replicating the look, may I suggest:

Happy shopping! :D

Why thank you, M'dear! :D

Since I'm a brunette, I probably wouldn't have as much problem with the coat washing me out. But I would like to know what the handbag that's attached to that strap looks like.

From what I can see, it looks pretty - proper bridle leather, with some nice patina from actual use, not fake antiquing and a good size for her. The links in the strap look pretty chunky and sturdy too. My knowledge of handbags is sadly lacking, but for a good bridle leather bag, Tanner Krole are always worth a look at. The chain strap isn't really very Tanner Krolle though; I'd guess that's more a Chanel feature but the bridle leather wouldn't be. Mind you if it's older, then it could be. So no idea! :D

I thought they made them ride bicycles.

Maybe with the money they save on gas, she can afford nice handbags.

BTW, she has quite the cheeky grin. I sense she's trouble. The good kind. The similar kind of trouble as you in your Trek uniform. :p

I got Transformers 2 on Blu-ray yesterday.

:cardie:

Does it go on your shelf right next to Land of the Lost and G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra?
I DO NOT OWN LAND OF THE LOST!

:p

But hey, even if some parts of Transformers 2 do suck (the twins, all the um... talking) there's also some pretty cool stuff (baysplosions, Camaro, Megan Fox). ;)
And it also contains one of my favorite lines from any movie ever:

"Why don't you go find a tighter shirt?"
"There are no tighter shirts. We checked!"

It's been a long time since I've done this.

Steam games I've bought over the past few months.

Purchases069Medium.jpg

Dark Knight special edition on Blu Ray. Tons of sellers had it for $10 on the Amazon marketplace for some reason. Sadly it doesn't have a normal Blu Ray case, the disks are in that big plastic Batman symbol.

Purchases070Medium.jpg

The Classic Controller Pro imported from Japan. Way better then the normal classic controller.

Purchases071Medium.jpg

Some cheap games from Gamefly.

Purchases072Medium.jpg

New Super Mario Brothers Wii along with the Blu Ray versions of Band of Brothers and Star Wars the Clone Wars Season 1.

Purchases073Medium.jpg

Some games and Blu Rays.

I got a new laptop for my dad for his Birthday. It's a basic Lenovo N500, which is honestly more than he needs.

Hey now! I liked G.I. Joe. It wasn't Shakespeare by any means but I thought it was a decent fluffy action flick. Stuff blew up, the tech was cool and it had Snake Eyes kicking some major ass. It had some problems and strayed from the original but I can overlook that. I will also concede that Channing is a terrible terrible actor too. It was better than T-4 though, which I bought yesterday. The only good thing about it was Sam Worthington and he was excellent. The rest was a yawn.

But Land of the Lost was... horrible. :cardie: Even my love for Anna Friel couldn't pull that one out of the clinker for me.

I bought my nephew a smoke-ring gun, the SmartAss board game and card game, SkipBo, for Christmas.

Crikey. That shit adds up.

I bought myself groceries for the next couple of weeks.

Two weeks ago I bought myself:

-Star Trek 2 Disc Special Edition Steelcase DVD
-Wizard #218 Avengers cover
