Karl Urban is probably the most sophisticated cast member from the new film, at least thats the vibe I get from all the interviews he's done; they have been clever, witty, and informative.

I agree.
Karl seems to be the least out-of-his-element and bewildered about his role in the movie, how well the film did and the franchise in-general. As much as I groove to John Cho, Quinto and Pine I couldn't see any of them bragging and glowing about their action figures.

I watched the casting doc from the DVD last night. And John Cho repeats what Pine said about Karl never having taken a bad picture.
