Now these all sound really fun.

Thanks. :D Tried out a few of these today, and really enjoyed them, especially the shirt - a perfect fit, mostly because I cheated and raided the junior boys section. I often find women's shirts are too short for me as I have a long torso, and men's are too broad at the shoulders of course. I've discovered juniors fit me like a made to measure - 12 year old's to be precise. Saved a small fortune that way, too. :techman:

Gods and Generals by Jeff Shaara
The Great Upheaval: America and the Birth of the Modern World 1788-1800 by Jay Winik

10 gallons of gas for the truck.

I got me one of these puppies and I've been having fun with it ever since.

Is that for real?

Americans... :p

I would think it takes a matter of seconds to fold clothes into a neat pile to be stored atop one another in a drawer or wardrobe... one of those things would probably slow me down, if anything!

I can't fold straight to save my life. This thing has been a godsend. I now have 40% more room in my bedroom for clothes and towels than I did yesterday. :techman:

You can come over and fold my laundry anytime. :p

As for latest purchases, my last was a glass of Talisker 18 year whiskey while having drinks with an old friend.

Tickets to Fantastic Mr. Fox, which was, indeed, fantastic.

Oh, good. I want to see that.
You should! It was really, exceptionally good! The story is plenty grown up and entertaining enough for adults. In fact, I'd classify it more as a kid-friendly grown-up film than a grown-up friendly kid film, though it is both. It touches you and makes you think a little, and the classic stop motion animation, without a even a hint of computer involvement, was at once stunning and made me feel like a kid again.

^Thanks! Maybe I will catch that on one of my days off.

I picked up a vase and a pair of wall scones for my loser-sister's Christmas present. Picked up the whole thing for less than 20 bucks. I also got a little santa-teddy for my 9 month old niece.

^ I have the exact same headphones... I use them at work to listen to music while working. I'm actually thinking about getting a second set for home.

Yesterday I bought a long needed pair of casual everyday shoes and a new belt as well. The day before I picked up a copy of Ratatouille on DVD.

There's something very Rainman about this... fold the shirt, fold the shirt, fold the shirt, three minutes to Wapner... ;)

 I've given into my OCD tendencies and I'm embracing them.

You might need to start washing your hands more often if you start embracing lots of weird tendencies... :D

I got worried that I was a hoarder, but it turned out I was just a clutterer. That was a close one. I'm trying to turn over a new leaf. A germ- free, perfectly symmetrical leaf.
