Watching that episode is all about how well you can tolerate Dick.
I know some people that just can't stand Dick.
But I think Dick has done some upstanding work in some hard posiitons over the years.
Poor Dick always gets a raw deal.
I strongly recommed the Year of Hell episodes. I loved those.
oh wait. just read that you hated Tuvix. I thought that was really good, very thought provoking....so i don't know ...
I remember year of hell, and my only serious problem with it is that the entire "year of hell" is cancelled out at the end. So, at the end of the 2 part episode, the only thing that actually happened is that they saw a comet and changed course.

I say this in sincerity: Klaitu, buddy? If you don't like the reset button, Voyager is NOT (I repeat, NOT) the series for you.

I am a huge VOY fan, love it to bits, and I will agree with this. If the reset button bugs you, VOY will bug you.
Blood Fever
Lifesigns
Scorpion
Critical Care
The Killing Game
Timeless
Shattered
The Phage
Thirty Days
Maneuvers
Future's End
Yikes, you're impossible to please.
How can you not like Phage??
Frankly, it seems like you're too ready to absorb other people's negative opinions about the show rather than forming your own.
I strongly recommed the Year of Hell episodes. I loved those.
...
I didn't entirely dislike Phage. It's main problem is that it's a Neelix story
I agree "Living Witness" is most likely the best. "Timeless" I liked too, even though I don't like Harry's character even when he is given something meaningful to do. "Distant Origin" is really good, I really liked how in the end, intolerant, ignorant dogma won and the scientists lost. Really threw me for a loop there, I liked that they went the route of "not every good cause is won just because the Federation helped out and they ultimately are right about everything". And the one with the planet with the super fast rotation.
I strongly recommed the Year of Hell episodes. I loved those.

My issue with the Year Of Hell episodes wasn't just the reset button, I was disappointed with who the Krenim turned out to be. In Before And After, for some reason I was left with the impression that they were gonna be really creepy and evil and whatnot, and when they finally showed up, it was theguy from That 70's Show with spots.
Then again, upon rewatching Before And After for the first time in years recently, can anyone explain how anything good in the episode outweighs how little sense it makes? I'm not one who can ignore extremely nonsensical scenes and just focus on the story, especially with Voyager, since so little emphasis was put on character development and storytelling that was anything but completely pedestrian 95% of the time, makingbad science stand out as REALLY bad. So how is it that, since Kes is travelling backwards through time, and NO ONE in any future time realizes it or notices anything, WHY does she disappear in sickbay? Just couldn't get past that.
