Whatever, I had fun reading it. Hell, if I could stomach a gigantic Borg cube eating Pluto, then I can stomach Trip going undercover.Actually, the book makes it sufficiently plausible.Secret agent mission faked death? LOLOLOLOLOL
That book was awful.
So I've been wondering, much has been established about Vulcans, canonically speaking. We know they are a long-lived race, and therefore one from the 22nd century could have been alive in the 23rd century. And since Abrams and his cohorts are saying they'd like to provide various links to the other Trek series, this could be a perfect link to Enterprise. Have a scene where Kirk and Spock enter an alien night club in search of Trek XII's villain. While they're looking around, they pass by T'Pol. You know what would make this scene even better? Have T'Pol wearing a sombrero. The potential is awe-inspiringly awesome.
Discuss.
Does that "10,000 Vulcans left" number include all Vulcans, or just those on the homeworld?
Also, was it ever established if Vulcan had colonies? I only recall the colony at the monastery of P'jem, but surely, for a species that had been starfaring for such a while, there must be a number of Vulcan colonies.
Also, sexier.
She'd be 170.
Imagine what 170 years of gravity has done to those boobs.
No catsuit for T'Pol in XII![]()
^^I was wondering how long before someone got that.
I think the alive and well T’Pol, the once non-believer in time travel, after the cataclysm will find reason to endeavor a trip forward in time anyway she can
Remember Archer going with Daniels, both to that city in the future, and to the Enterprise-J?It is possible to travel forward in time? Most time travel in Trek is traveling into the past and then returning to the "present".
True, I once wrote a paper on that very theme.Remember Archer going with Daniels, both to that city in the future, and to the Enterprise-J?It is possible to travel forward in time? Most time travel in Trek is traveling into the past and then returning to the "present".
You're travelling forward in time right now - at a rate of one minute per minute.![]()
Most Trek time travel is to the past, but Berlinghoff Rasmussen (TNG's "A Matter of Time") was from the 22nd century and used a stolen 26th-century time-travel pod to travel forward. As pointed out above, Daniels' devices in ENT allowed travel both backward and forward. I think the past may be favored more by writers because they (as well as the audience) already know what it looks like, and thus it requires less explanation. It is possible to travel forward in time? Most time travel in Trek is traveling into the past and then returning to the "present".
