Supernatural 5x9"The Real Ghostbusters" spoilerish

Thank God the heavier episodes are coming soon!! I've never been a big fan of the comedy episodes. I don't mind humor in the episodes but the last 4 weeks has been like watching 4 weeks of "Take Me Out to the Holosuite" during the Dominion War!! I actually had to resist fastforwarding through the Supernatural convention segments because they grated on my nerves like an embarrassing bad point during a Brady Bunch episode. I was actually thinking this show has jumped the shark before Chuck mentioned it at the end.

In an age where there's too much new internet vernacular, abbreviations and or anagrams. What does TWOP stand for again?

I have no idea myself. All the posts talk about this abbreviation I don't know. You are not alone in saying WTF.
The internet is truly a strange place. Before venturing into it years ago I would never have imagined some of the out-there stuff that I would come across--from the idea of slash, 'shipper wars, purists such as TOS/Trek and BSG and nBSG, nutty fangirls i.e. with Supernatural, ridiculously nitpicky fanboys, critics of shows actively calling for the cancellation of a tv show they don't like, canon violation arguments, the ridiculous villification of Berman and Braga, the zealous Whedon fans and the list could go on and on.

Its been interesting that the episodes lately have been about godly traits... dean realizes (finally) that his brother would die for him.... and I think he realizes he'd die for him also... humanity needs to get to the same point... when palestinians would die for the israeli satan will have less of a hold on humanity. there was that episode about forgiveness, and a couple others I dont recall at the moment... when they do meet god later this year they can stand prouldly in front of her.

I prefer Whoopi Goldberg myself. ;) Hey, when Jeffrey Dean Morgan was on The View and all the other ladies wanted to talk about Grey's Anatomy, gag me puke, Whoopi wanted to talk about Supernatural. :techman:

A clip from 5x10 "Abandon All Hope." Definitely not a comedy. Someone's baaaaaaack.

Abandon all Hope

I thought the episode was great. I love the comedic moments. But for those who didn't think the episode was heavy...you missed something.
